At a measuring location of the Flemish Environment Agency (VMM) barely a hundred meters from the Sint-Anna beach on the Antwerp Left Bank, remarkably high concentrations of PFBA were measured in the months of August, September and October. This so-called 'short PFAS' ends up on the ground surface via the air. This is evident from a study by the VMM and the Flemish Institute for Technological Research that Apache was able to view.
