On Sunday 04.07.2021, citizen movements, trade unions, farmers and environmental organizations gathered on the streets for the march for a healthy port and city.
We left from Opera Square and walked to the Havenhuis, together, for a healthier and sustainable future.
We demand that our government takes the necessary steps and looks for a solution. A solution in which the polluter pays, farmers are given a clear future, employees can work safely in the port and citizens can eat eggs and vegetables from the garden again as soon as possible.

Grondrecht organised the march together with the citizens' movements Ineos Will Fall, Right to Air, Pipeline ACTION Committee and Save our Clay PitsWe received support from, among others, the Grandparents for the Climate, Youth for Climate, Extinction Rebellion Antwerp, Climax, Farmers forum, Greenpeace, Better Environment Association, Nature Point Waasland and various delegations from ABVV Chemistry.
