Residents of the 3M site urgently need a clear view of the existing PFOS contamination based on current standards. The doubt that is still being sown is causing confusion, unrest and anger. Residents and companies within the perimeter around 3M are left with many questions and concerns and still do not have a seat at the table. Yet it is about our health and that of our children and grandchildren, health and environment. A few interventions should suffice to prevent further contamination with PFOS. However, the standards that the committee uses are open to discussion. What conclusions can we draw from the report of the committee on the priorities of the Flemish Government?
