In the Left Bank project area, 460,000 m³ of heavily PFOS-contaminated soil would initially be excavated and packed by Lantis, the developer of Oosterweel. Ultimately, it will only be 160,000 m³. This is evident from internal documents from Lantis that Apache, De Standaard and HLN were able to view. 160,000 m³. The vast majority of it will be dumped in the controversial berm that developer Lantis is constructing on the grounds of polluter 3M in Zwijndrecht.
