Grondrecht is a collective of concerned citizens who demand clarity about the PFAS pollution in their living environment and the consequences for themselves, their children and grandchildren. Grondrecht advocates for the identification of areas polluted with PFAS, so that the pollution can be contained and cleaned up, and will help ensure that the polluter pays for these interventions. As long as the pollution has not been eliminated, Grondrecht demands that processing of the polluted soils is only possible if there are conclusive guarantees that processing does not pose any risks to local residents.

Taking action costs money, we can certainly use your support.
The government is too slow to measure PFOS poisoning. That is why we had blood samples taken from local residents and are planning additional health and soil research.
We put the city of Antwerp and the municipality of Zwijndrecht in default because they failed to comply with the environmental reporting obligation.
When this was not complied with, we were forced to take legal action.
We are up against giants and for this we need money, a lot of money.
The good news is that there are many of us, and many small ones make a big one.
