In one year, more than 15,000 tons of foreign waste containing PFAS was incinerated in the Antwerp waste processing company Indaver. This is evident from figures from Flemish Minister of Environment Zuhal Demir, who requested Groen MP Mieke Schauvliege. 'Without knowing how much PFAS is released into the air this way', says Schauvliege.
